florida gardening peppers vegetables

I love peppers for their variety, both in appearance and flavors. Here are a few different types I have grown in my back yard over the years.

For sure, some of these peppers double as paint remover but others are mild, not wild. Besides the typical bell pepper, a sweeter pepper is the pimiento. The fruit is smaller but the walls are thicker and sweeter. I’ve grown ‘Lipstick’, ‘Red Heart’ and ‘Yellow Cheese’ that you eat like an apple.
