I picked the title Cardboard Palm because it is easy to spell and remember. And I like the plant. We have much in common: kind of short and fuzzy, blunt, green and growing. At least I didn’t call it Zamia furfuracea.

I have a regular website: www.weedsandseeds.com and a beautiful photo-blog to help with plant identification at http://weedsandseedsdotorg.wordpress.com/ Those websites have specific purposes of communicating about education.

This blog is more about musings. Scroll to the bottom to pull up lots of photos in categories of poinsettias, caladiums, Disney’s flowers, bird feeder, salsa recipe, school garden, garden bench, park bench, botanical art and more.
